I have a runner friend named Jackie. Compared to her I would call my self a jogger. She knew I wanted to run a 5k soon so she talked me into running a 5k with her. She told me about a fundraiser run nearby. All I cared about was if it was all flat. She laughed and signed us up. We did it in 33 min 47 seconds. She was a good sport and stuck with me even though I knew she could do it in much faster time. It was fun! The kids and Jason came to cheer us on.
