Quick Trip

Labor Day weekend my sister was able to come up and visit. My sister friend was coming up and offered for her to tag along. They left California late in the afternoon on Friday and got here in the early hours of the morning on Saturday. They were very all tired.

The kids really enjoy it when their Auntie Sio comes to visit. Saturday was very low key. My sister tried to sleep but the kids followed her everywhere and even took a nap with her. 

On Sunday we decided to go into the Uintas. It turned out to be a nice day for a hike. We spend all day in the mountains or in the car.  We didn’t see any wildlife except maybe a deer and some horses.

My sister isn’t use to the elevation so we took it slow going up so. Those California girls are use to sea level air. She had a hard time with the altitude but she made it to the top! The highest point of our hike Mt. Watson Elev. 11,527. 

After our hiking all we wanted was some fat greasy burgers so we stopped at Five Guys on our way home. Jason still believes In'N'Out burgers are tastier and you can't compare the two. I think he's right. On Monday we slept in, got ready and then dropped my sister off with her friends.

We’re glad my sister came up even if it was just for a short time.
