St. George(Day 2)

Tuesday brought new adventures in St George...in the morning we moved to a different room a pain but we had to do it to be able to stay longer. Short planned trips aren't perfect.

Our new room was larger but the kids didn't really seem to notice. Anyway, after moving we returned to Zion to check out the rest of the park we didn't get to see the day before. No hiking on this day just drove thru the tunnel and did some sight seeing from the car.

Here we were entering the tunnel. The next picture I took from inside the tunnel. I think the tunnel had three opening you could look out of.In the middle of the next picture right above the green you can see one of the openings. A little hole in the mountain.





Awesome views of trees growing  inside rock mountains with little no no dirt.We visited the old historic part of St. George, the temple plus the visiting center and a few other places in town.

We also took a tour of Brigham Young's winter home.

Another busy day out and about but we made time to enjoy some of the ammenties where we were staying at too. We played a quick game of ping pong in the rec center and went swimming. 

We would say swimming pool and Maddie would rush into her dressing room(the closet) and change faster than she ever does anything for me at home.
The kids were exhausted for a second day in a row. After swimming Korbin would only move from the coach to the chair and that even looked like to much work for him.

We figured out how to use the timer correctly on our camera. 

Even with the extra room the kids still wanted to sleep on the murphy bed in the living room.
