Spring

Spring break!!!  We went from having lots of plans to having no plans for this week. So far we are filling our days with whatever sounds like fun. The best part is we are loving being work and schedule free!
For example last night the kids ran around playing night games with friends. They were having so much fun I could hear them inside the house! This is what we've done...

Saturday and Sunday
Conference weekend and also soccer games have started again. Madison scored a goal during her game. Jason said she took the ball mid-filed and ran it all the way to the goal and scored. Jason paid Mads $5(the arrangement is still the same as last season). Every goal is worth $5 in this household. Korbin has a new coach and it seems like he's wants to do a good job and on top of things. I can feel that the boys on the team will improve by the end of the season. Also cleaned out the laundry room and figured out it's really not ready for shelves like we had planned to build. It's still unorganized but cleaner. So our big week long project went out the window.

Monday
Went to City Creek for the day. It's very nice and has fun shops. We spent a few hours checking it out. We grabbed lunch and headed to Park City to the outlets. Afterwards we stopped by g-ma and g-pa E's to grab some oranges they picked from Synda's yard. We ended the night with pizza, a movie and eating some Arizona oranges.

Tuesday
We went to the Bingham Canyon mine. It was interesting and kinda fun. The kids want to go back this summer. A first visit for the kids and I and a second visit for Jason. Grandpa Dale joined us for the day. Afterwards we stopped by to get grab a bite to eat and came home. The kids and a few friends played some night games in the back yard. A few hours of playing and the number dwindle down to just a few friends playing UNO.

Wednesday
Madison released her butterflies this morning. She's had a great time watching them grow from furry little caterpillars into beautiful butterflies. The rest of the days involves running errands, playing with friends, scouts for Korbin and night games again tonight.

I sure do miss having the kids around more... They make me laugh so hard sometimes. Marina was telling us about her new siblings sleeping habits and Jason and I started talking about our kids sleeping habits when they were babies. Korbin would sleep 4 hours at a time and Madison only 2 hours at a time. Jason asked me if he use to work graveyards when Madison was a baby and Madison jumps in saying,'Dad you worked at the GRAVEYARD!'. I couldn't help but laugh for a while.

For not having any plans, you sure are doing a lot of stuff. My kids are on for night games tonight, so no more party pooper smack talk. :)
