We went on a hike up Waterfall Canyon yesterday. We took our time going up the canyon and joked/played games with the kids with no distractions.
The first part of this hike is always the worst because it's out in the sun. Once we hit the shade the temperature was so much cooler and Mads was in a much better mood. We found a cool climbing wall along the way too.
This is one of my favorite hikes.
Once we reached the waterfall we spent some time enjoying the mist of the waterfall, relaxed, ate our energy bars and raced down the trail to our car.
