Today, the weather outside was great for a pool day. Both kids invited a friend to go with us to Crystal Hot Springs. We spent about 4 hours at the pool and had a really nice time. We went down the slides, sat in the hot tubs, played Marco Polo with the kids, relaxed and jumped into the different pools.
The slides were definitely the best part, the pools (after you can get over the color of the water) were actually amazing at giving us super soft skin. The Olympic pool wasn't busy when we decided to play Marco Polo with the kids so we had plenty of room to spread out and play. The whole day turned out to be extra f-u-n, we just hung out and played together! (Some of the credit needs to be given to the lifeguards who didn't enforce most of the rules). After the pool I asked Jason to show me how to get to the Brigham City pool (our local pool can be a little bit annoying with so many rules), while on our drive there we found some beautiful homes, one in particular had a fun yard. Jas also wanted to show us the temple in Brigham. It's beautiful and in a few weeks we'll be able to go thru it before it's dedicated. It's been several years since the kids have been able to walk or go into a temple. We arrived home around dinner time but not before stopping one more time to purchase rolls and cornbread from Maddox (we couldn't resist being so close). We definitely surprised Korbin's friend Ben, with all of our spontaneous stops. He was a riot on our drive back home. Marina is use to it hanging out with us and just went with the flow. Madison has spent more time during the day at Marina's home than ours this summer. We wrapped up the night with pizza for dinner and we watched some of the Olympics. Amazing athletes this year and we have definitely found our favorites!

Thanks for inviting Ben. He had a great time, but he didn't tell us about any of the extra stops. Exactly what do you mean by "a riot"? That boys verbalizes every thought that crosses his mind.
